_______________Exhibit A – Common Issues & Remedies
Included in Warranty
Tears or Rips as a result of installation process: These can usually be patched up using
specialized turf adhesive and patches designed for the purpose.
Seam Separation: They can be resealed with turf seam tape and adhesive.
Base Settlement: If the base beneath the artificial turf settles unevenly, it can lead to an uneven
surface. This may require lifting and re-leveling the turf.
Edges and Borders: The edges of artificial turf can sometimes become loose or lift over time.
Periodic re-securing may be needed to maintain the integrity of turf borders.
Excluded from Warranty
Other Tears or Rips: Small tears or rips can occur due to heavy foot traffic, sharp objects, or
accidents. These can usually be patched up using specialized turf adhesive and patches
designed for the purpose.
Compacted or Flattened Fibers: Over time, artificial turf fibers can become flattened or
compacted, especially in high-traffic areas. Grooming the turf with a power broom or a stiff brush
can help lift and fluff up the fibers.
Infill Loss: Infill materials (typically sand or rubber) may settle or be displaced over time,
leading to uneven or compacted areas. Adding more infill material and redistributing it evenly
can restore the turf's performance.
Odors: In some cases, artificial turf can develop unpleasant odors due to trapped moisture or
pet urine. Regular cleaning and deodorizing can help mitigate this issue.Animal Damage: Pets may dig, scratch, or chew on artificial turf, causing damage. Repairing
such damage may involve patching or replacing affected areas.
Debris Accumulation: Leaves, sticks, and other debris can accumulate on the turf and impact
its appearance and drainage. Regularly removing debris with a leaf blower or broom is
essential.
Stains: Stains from spills or contaminants can sometimes occur. Promptly cleaning and treating
stains can prevent permanent discoloration.
Regular maintenance is key to minimizing these common issues with artificial turf. It's also a
good idea to follow the manufacturer's guidelines (included in the post-install care package) and
recommendations for maintenance and repairs. If you encounter more significant issues, please
reach out to us at info@frdmturf.com.Exhibit B – Warranty Claim and Repair Process

Exclusions to Workmanship Warranty
● Any natural disaster including but not limited to earthquake, tornado, flash flooding,
landslide, or extreme wind over 100 mph
● Improper use of product including but not limited to driving or using equipment over
200lbs.
● Burns from anything, but direct sunlight which would be a product warranty. Please note
that it is the customers responsibility to inspect windows to ensure they have sufficient
tint to prevent reflection burns (we recommend installing Gila tint wrap from Home
Depot) if you have a window that reflects onto the turf.
● Any damages from dogs digging or chewing at turf.
● Leaving a hose on or manually dumping more than 400 inches per hour in one area (this
may cause the base to sink). Regular rainfall is covered under the workmanship
warranty.
● Any rips, tears, burns or turf balding from machinery or tools used on turf after the
installation is complete. (We recommend purchasing a turf vacuum such as turfmatic but
to put it at the highest level and to use with caution, many customers purchase power
turf brooms, if used properly they can help keep the turf looking brand new but if used
improperly it would seriously damage the turf (i.e., pushing it down too hard while
brooming or leaving the hot engine on top of the turf, we can and will repair this but it
won't be covered under the warranty.)● Attempting to repair a covered issue on your own, this also includes hiring another
professional to do it.
● Damage from any furniture or equipment on top of turf
● Sprinkler lines that have not been capped, we strongly recommend letting us cap all
sprinklers. If we’re going to leave a few we recommend leaving the ones closest to the
edging of the turf.
● Tree roots pushing the turf up or separating the seams.
● Damage from wildlife including but not limited to deers, gophers, voles, or insects. (if
